- End-user self-service ranks 13th of 63 technologies and initiatives strategic to business intelligence in our 2024 survey
- The importance of end-user self-service gradually increases with organization size, as organizations seek to standardize and democratize the scale and scope of user constituencies and communities
- Top collaborative BI features include: Search and navigation for data and analytic content under governance, follow governed data and analytic content, author analytic content, and share content and commentary with other users
- Governance is a critical component of any successful self-service BI solution. When surveying users about governance, the greatest majority reflects this importance with the majority saying it is either critical or very important
- Guided Analytics is at least important to 70 percent of respondents in 2024, down very slightly from 72 percent in 2023
